Students ages 6 – 10 will explore the joy of drawing, painting, and creating with different materials and tools from pencils and markers to watercolors, acrylics, and beyond. Campers will learn fundamental drawing skills, explore color theory, and experiment with composition as they embark on a colorful adventure of artistic discovery.

From imaginative landscapes and whimsical characters, students will have the freedom to explore a wide range of themes and subjects, allowing them to express their unique perspectives and personalities through their artwork. Whether they're sketching a favorite animal, painting a vibrant self-portrait, or creating a mixed media masterpiece, every project is an opportunity for self-expression and creative exploration.

At the end of the week, campers will participate in a mini-reception with their instructor and afterward bring their artwork home to share with friends and family.

In this fun, colorful and whimsical camp, campers ages 7-11 will learn various dyeing techniques to create vibrant t-shirts, tote bags, bowls, jewelry and garlands. We’ll learn how to use powdered dye and ice (ice dyeing) to create a beautiful watercolor effect, how to use food coloring and bubbles to create dimension and texture and how to transfer natural dyes from plants onto fabric (hapazome). We’ll also make a fun bowl using our hand-dyed fabric! All of the dyes used will be non-toxic and kid-safe.

Campers are more than welcome to bring a few items from home to dye. They must be 100% cotton, white and pre-washed. Dyeing can get messy so campers should come wearing old clothes including shoes. 

At the end of the week, campers will participate in a "share showcase" with their instructor to share with friends and family.

Step back in time as we delve into the mysteries of ancient civilizations. Over the course of this unique program, teens ages 13 and up will embark on an unforgettable journey to explore the secrets of the past by building scale models of pyramids and crafting traditional masks.

Campers will learn about the architectural marvels of ancient Egypt and Mesoamerica. Through hands-on workshops and interactive sessions, participants will discover the engineering techniques behind pyramid construction and the cultural significance of mask-making in various ancient societies.

Campers will have the opportunity to work collaboratively, problem-solve, and unleash their creativity as they construct and paint miniature pyramids. Additionally, they will delve into the world of ancient artistry by designing and crafting their own ceremonial masks, drawing inspiration from historical artifacts and traditions.

Throughout the camp, teens will not only develop practical skills in construction and art but also gain a deeper understanding of ancient cultures and their enduring legacies. Join us for a summer filled with discovery, creativity, and adventure as we uncover the wonders of the past together!

Welcome to our Summer Performance Camp – an immersive experience designed to cultivate a deep appreciation for the captivating world of musical theater while igniting a passion for storytelling! Geared towards ages 13-17, this camp offers a holistic journey through the enchanting realms of acting, singing, and dancing, culminating in a spectacular performance of Finding Nemo Jr!

Over the course of a week and a half, students will embark on an exhilarating adventure, delving into the heartwarming tale of Finding Nemo. Through a dynamic blend of rehearsals, workshops, and interactive activities, participants will not only refine their performance skills but also gain invaluable insights into the intricate mechanics of theatrical production.

From mastering melodies to perfecting choreography, students will immerse themselves in every facet of musical theater, under the guidance of seasoned instructors. Through engaging acting exercises and imaginative games, students will unlock their creative potential, honing their abilities to embody diverse characters with depth and authenticity.

Furthermore, students will delve into the behind-the-scenes magic of theater, channeling their creativity into crafting props and costumes through hands-on arts and crafts projects. Embark on a colorful journey of creativity and self-expression with our mixed media art class. This dynamic class for ages 6 - 10 is designed to introduce young artists to the exciting world of mixed media, where they can explore, experiment, and bring their imaginations to life through a variety of artistic techniques and materials.

Kids will explore a vibrant palette of paints, pastels, and more as they learn to layer and blend, creating stunning backgrounds for their mixed media masterpieces. Engage tiny hands in a tactile experience with a variety of textures. From smooth papers to textured fabrics, children will discover the sensory delight of different materials, adding depth and touchable elements to their creations.

Students will also learn the joy of drawing with various tools and techniques. From crayons to markers, children will develop their fine motor skills while expressing their creativity on paper and canvas.
