One of our most popular camps! Painting and sculptures come to life with the imagination of young artists ages 8 and up. Campers will learn hand-building techniques, work with various types of clay and paint their own pieces. Campers will make pinch pot creatures and more!

At the end of the week, campers will participate in a mini-reception with their instructor and afterward bring their artwork home to share with friends and family.

Does your child love any and all art materials? In this class, students ages 5-9 will have fun using their imaginations to create unique pieces in many different mediums. All the insights and techniques are hidden in the projects, so the kids get to go right into making things! By the end of the week, campers walk away with their artwork, a love for creative expression, and perhaps a new favorite technique.

This course helps students ages 13 and up build confidence in the techniques of basic baking. Students are introduced to the fundamental concepts, skills and techniques of baking. Through demonstrations, production, tasting and testing, students Learn Biscuit Method, Creaming Method, Muffin Method, yeast-raised dough mixing methods, pie dough, quick dough, and cookie dough.

Throughout our sessions, participants will explore the fundamentals of figure drawing, mastering the art of using simple shapes as building blocks for creating lifelike representations of people. From capturing the intricate details of facial expressions to depicting dynamic poses with precision, campers will hone their skills under the expert guidance of our experienced instructor.

Through a blend of hands-on exercises and immersive activities, students will develop a well-rounded understanding of human anatomy and proportion. Experience the world of ARTopia, where your child’s imagination can soar. In this fun studio art class, campers ages 5-9 will conceptualize, design, and create art projects in such mediums as painting, sculpting and drawing. Each day, campers will have a blast making new friends and will feel confident, proud, and excited with every high five and “good job!” moment, knowing they are mastering new skills.

Do you have a passion for people? Maybe you like to draw your own superheroes or monsters, and fill sketchbooks with unique stories and ideas that spill over from your daydreams. If that sounds like you, then this is the camp for you! Campers ages 9 and up will learn some of the fundamental concepts that make good character designs successful and how to implement them into their own designs using the app Procreate and Apple Pencils. iPads and Apple Pencils are provided by the MACC, but you are welcome to bring your own.

At the end of the week, campers will participate in a mini-reception with their instructor to share their creations with friends and family.

Back by popular demand! Soak up the sun in this fun drawing and painting mixed media class! Campers ages 6 - 10 will experiment with different materials including seashells, pearls, sand, glitter and more to create their own masterpieces.
