Embark on a colorful journey of creativity and self-expression with our mixed media art class. This dynamic class for ages 6 - 10 is designed to introduce young artists to the exciting world of mixed media, where they can explore, experiment, and bring their imaginations to life through a variety of artistic techniques and materials.

Kids will explore a vibrant palette of paints, pastels, and more as they learn to layer and blend, creating stunning backgrounds for their mixed media masterpieces. Engage tiny hands in a tactile experience with a variety of textures. From smooth papers to textured fabrics, children will discover the sensory delight of different materials, adding depth and touchable elements to their creations.

Students will also learn the joy of drawing with various tools and techniques. From crayons to markers, children will develop their fine motor skills while expressing their creativity on paper and canvas. Engage in themed projects that encourage creative thinking and imagination. From fantasy landscapes to whimsical creatures, each project provides an opportunity for self-expression and exploration.

At the end of the week, campers will participate in a mini-reception with their instructor and afterward bring their artwork home to share with friends and family.

One of our most popular camps! Painting and sculptures come to life with the imagination of young artists ages 8 and up. Campers will learn hand-building techniques, work with various types of clay and paint their own pieces. Campers will make pinch pot creatures and more!

At the end of the week, campers will participate in a mini-reception with their instructor and afterward bring their artwork home to share with friends and family.

All the insights and techniques are hidden in the projects, so the kids get to go right into making things! Experience the world of ARTopia, where your child’s imagination can soar. In this fun studio art class, campers ages 5-9 will conceptualize, design, and create art projects in such mediums as painting, sculpting and drawing. Each day, campers will have a blast making new friends and will feel confident, proud, and excited with every high five and “good job!” moment, knowing they are mastering new skills.

Do you have a passion for people? Maybe you like to draw your own superheroes or monsters, and fill sketchbooks with unique stories and ideas that spill over from your daydreams. If that sounds like you, then this is the camp for you! Campers ages 9 and up will learn some of the fundamental concepts that make good character designs successful and how to implement them into their own designs using the app Procreate and Apple Pencils. iPads and Apple Pencils are provided by the MACC, but you are welcome to bring your own.

At the end of the week, campers will participate in a mini-reception with their instructor to share their creations with friends and family.

Back by popular demand! Soak up the sun in this fun drawing and painting mixed media class! Campers ages 6 - 10 will experiment with different materials including seashells, pearls, sand, glitter and more to create their own masterpieces.

We LOVE our pets! Students ages 5 - 8 will enjoy a week of painting and/or drawing your favorite animals from farm life, jungle animals, your adorable pet(s), and more!
