Back by Popular Demand! Experience the world of ArtXtravaganza, where creativity is the name of the game. In this fun studio art class, campers ages 5-8 will conceptualize, design, and create art projects in such mediums as painting, sculpting, papier-mâché and drawing. Whatever medium they are working in, they will be guided through proper use of tools and techniques that will help build their knowledge and expertise of that art form.

At the end of the week, campers will participate in a mini-reception with their instructor and afterward bring their artwork home to share with friends and family.

Note: If your child has taken this class before, the previous projects will not be repeated and campers will continue to build on their art skills.

One of our most popular camps! Painting and sculptures come to life with the imagination of young artists ages 8 and up. Campers will learn hand-building techniques, work with various types of clay and paint their own pieces. Campers will make pinch pot creatures and more!

At the end of the week, campers will participate in a mini-reception with their instructor and afterward bring their artwork home to share with friends and family.

In Digital Art Summer Camp, campers age 9 and up will delve into the exciting possibilities of digital media, exploring a wide range of techniques and tools to unleash their creativity and bring their imaginations to life. Guided by an experienced instructor who is passionate about both art and technology, campers will learn the fundamentals of digital artistry, from digital drawing painting to graphic design, and beyond.

Equipped with state-of-the-art software and hardware, campers will have the opportunity to experiment with industry-standard tool Procreate on a MACC provided iPad, gaining valuable hands-on experience as they explore the limitless potential of digital art. Whether they're creating digital illustrations or bringing characters to life, every project is an opportunity for self-expression and creative exploration.

Join our resident metal sculptor, Val Adams, for a hands-on adventure into the world of three-dimensional art. Students ages 13 and up will learn about the origins, history and impact sculpture has had on our world while creating sculptures of their own from a variety of materials such as metal, foam board, fabric and spray foam to name a few. Students will finish camp with 3 original pieces.  Bring your imagination and get ready to create!

Does your child love to do animation? Pictures are better when they move! Using the MACC's provided iPads, students ages 9 and up will learn the art of motion and create animated GIFS to bring their characters to life using.

Why wait until October when we can start the celebration in July? This camp for ages 6-10 will be filled with all things creepy and fun from the holiday when you can be anything you want in this world - or maybe even out of this world! We will be painting, sculpting, making headpieces and the most amazing masks! We can barely wait. We will also do a dress up photo shoot on the last day with all the crazy things we’ve made!
