In this introductory embroidery class, campers ages 10+ will take away basic hand embroidery skills. Campers will learn several stitches including French Knots, Satin Stitch, Back Stitch, Running Stitch and Split Stitch and will be guided through proper use of tools and techniques. Campers will create a few projects including bookmarks, a fun embroidery sampler and a finished embroidery hoop ready for hanging. At the end of the week, campers will participate in a mini-reception with their instructor and afterward, bring their artwork home to share with friends and family.
