Experience the world of ARTopia, where your child’s imagination can soar. In this fun studio art class, campers ages 5-9 will conceptualize, design, and create art projects in such mediums as painting, sculpting and drawing. Each day, campers will have a blast making new friends and will feel confident, proud, and excited with every high five and “good job!” moment, knowing they are mastering new skills.

At the end of the week, campers will participate in a mini-reception with their instructor and afterward bring their artwork home to share with friends and family.

Does your child love any and all art materials? In this class, students ages 6-10 will have fun using their imaginations to create unique pieces in many different mediums. All the insights and techniques are hidden in the projects, so the kids get to go right into making things! By the end of the week, campers walk away with their artwork, a love for creative expression, and perhaps a new favorite technique.

We LOVE our pets! Students ages 6-10 will enjoy a week of painting and/or drawing your favorite animals from farm life, jungle animals, your adorable pet(s), and more! At the end of the week, campers will participate in a mini-reception with their instructor and afterward bring their artwork home to share with friends and family. Why wait until October when we can start the celebration in June? This camp for ages 5 - 9 will be filled with all things creepy and fun from the holiday when you can be anything you want in this world - or maybe even out of this world! We will be painting, sculpting, making headpieces and the most amazing masks! We can barely wait. We will also do a dress up photo shoot on the last day with all the crazy things we’ve made!

Campers ages 7-12 will explore introductory activities in the areas of painting and sculpting, supported by movement activities and theatrical poetry, that are presented in a way that provides access to arts instruction while preventing overstimulation and encouraging the use of the 5 senses to process each idea in a holistic way. Each day's activities will focus on the theme of "Summertime Fun," with a related topic sentence each day guiding our exploration.

This class is designed to be accessible for neurodiverse students who struggle with sensory integration or focus challenges, but all are welcome! At the end of the week, campers will participate in a mini-reception with a group presentation of dance-based exploration and gallery of individually composed visual art pieces.

Parents will escort campers to and from classroom. Campers must be able independently use bathroom, must be ambulatory enough to get upstairs without assistance, must be able to engage without presence of 1:1 aide as space is limited. Expressive language capabilities are not considered as prerequisite for participation, but student will need to have rudimentary receptive language to follow basic instructions from instructor.

In this fun studio art class, campers ages 9+ will conceptualize, design, and create art projects in such mediums as painting, sculpting, papier-mâché and drawing. Whatever medium they are working in, they will be guided through proper use of tools and techniques that will help build their knowledge and expertise of that art form.

At the end of the week, campers will participate in a mini-reception with their instructor and afterward bring their artwork home to share with friends and family.

Learn a new skill this Summer! The Art of Caricature: Bend it, stretch it, shrink it or blow it up. Anything goes in the art of caricature. Using pencil, paper and a MACC provided iPad, students ages 9 and up will learn portrait techniques and then learn how you go about creating a caricature that still looks like the person.

At the end of the week, campers will participate in a mini-reception with their instructor to share their Caricatures with friends and family.
