Whether you're brand new to oil painting or just want a refresher, this beginner course is for you! You will be shown the fundamentals of painting while building essential skills that will be a solid foundation for your painting journey!

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

Students will be introduced to the following concepts:

• Painting tools and materials. 
• Basics of design. 
• Basics of color and value. 
• Color mixing. 
• Describing 3 dimensional form. 
• Different styles and methods of painting. 
• Painting from life as well as photos. 
• Introduction to different subjects such as still-life, landscape, abstract, narrative and portrait painting.
